Under the dual backdrop of the Belt and Road Initiative and the carbon neutrality strategy, the conference recommended representative and exemplary cases. During the selection process for the '2023 Co-Building a Green Asia — Belt and Road Classic Cases,' SCC Group's four-year effort in developing its flagship product — the China-Europe and Central Asia full-journey two-way round-trip door-to-door international road transport service — received recognition. This service operates along two Silk Road logistics corridors traversing from China to select Central Asian countries and across the entirety of Europe. With an annual transport volume exceeding 2,000 vehicle trips and a cargo load of over 40,000 tons, this innovative transport service has been acclaimed within the industry as the 'Fourth Channel of International Transport.' Particularly during the three-year pandemic period when air transport was suspended and shipping and rail services were disrupted, SCC collaborated closely with Chinese and European fleets to repeatedly complete transport missions that conventional carriers could not handle. The Group helped numerous auto parts enterprises resolve product delivery challenges, preventing repeated supply chain crises, and received multiple commendations and expressions of gratitude from customers.
In active response to the automotive industry's carbon reduction targets, SCC Group has planned a progressive transition of short-haul route vehicles from diesel trucks to electric trucks. For long-haul routes, SCC Group proactively reviews transport data with customers, implementing measures such as route consolidation, load rate optimization, and transport distance reduction to lower consumption while saving costs for customers. SCC recently reached a strategic alignment with an important customer: for cooperative trunk routes within a driving radius of no more than 250 km with battery swap stations along the route, a fuel-to-electric transition will be progressively implemented. SCC has consistently pursued the mission of realizing green and smart logistics, continuously exploring and advancing toward the early achievement of carbon neutrality in the logistics industry. The above 'SCC Group's Green & Smart Logistics Path to Carbon Neutrality' was recognized as a 2023 'Co-Building a Green Asia — Belt and Road Classic Case.' At the conference, Mr. Guo Xiangang, Chairman of the World Development Foundation, President of the World Development Academy of Sciences, and Senior Advisor to the Carbon Neutrality Committee, delivered a speech and presented the award.
